Tuff PuffTuff Puff Time for a day hike out of the pages of Ross & Kyba. It was our puppy's first hike! We got going around 9:30 but didn't have any visibility due to fog until about 10:30. It was an excellent hike with open views most of the way, and the south-facing slope was nice and warm. One important intersection is found on a long open slope and marked by two large cairns. Here, the Kinglet Lake trail diverges left towards the creek and the Tuff Puff trail continues up the hill. There are some steep sections as you gain nearly 1000 m, especially near the end, but not as difficult as the guidebook suggests. Round trip is just under 15 km.
