Altea
I was staying in L'Albir, but the picturesque hilltop town of Altea was just up the road. On my first evening there, which was a Sunday, I went out searching for dinner. Unfortunately, only the touristy restaurants at the hilltop square seemed to be open, and though the atmosphere was nice, the meal and service certainly overpromised and underdelivered. Still, the sunset was more than worth the journey. These photos were captured with my iPhone. A couple days later, I returned with my colleague JP, and Altea redeemed itself with a wonderful French dinner. Duck with a view!
These final photos were taken on my last day from a distance, which capture Altea from the south.
